Our McDonald’s team has hit the ground running in 2021. The restaurant chain is upgrading their drive thrus with new digital menus throughout the UK and Ireland and we have a dedicated team that is currently undertaking the upgrade works.
McDonald’s identified the opportunity to create a more personalised experience by introducing outdoor digital drive-thru displays to show menu items based on time of day, weather, current restaurant traffic and promotional items.
The programme started in early 2020 and Marcon’s project team has completed 28 drive thru upgrades since June which averages to over 2 project completions per week. From the beginning of 2021 we will be increasing this number to 8 digital drive thru installations per week.
