Marcon successfully completed the major refurbishment works for the new casual dining burger joint, Bunsen Burger.  The new establishment, situated at Botanic Avenue in Belfast, aims to provide its straight-up, no-nonsense burgers to the locals and students in the area.

The refurbishment project, spanning several weeks, included the strip out, completion of structural works, interior fit out and associated M&E services installation to transform the 1400 m sq space into an inviting burger destination. The restaurant boasts a modern interior, featuring stylish seating arrangements, ambient lighting, tasteful décor and seating for approximately 70 guests.

Bunsen Burger, which was founded by chef Tom Gleeson in 2013, currently encompasses five restaurants in the Republic of Ireland, four of which are in Dublin and one in Cork.

The menu is simple and stripped back.  It is a celebration of burger craftsmanship and Bunsen takes pride in excellently sourced beef ingredients to ensure the highest quality in each classic beef burger.

Marcon’s Contract Manager, Lorcan Hegarty comments: “Bunsen Burger has been winning over burger-lovers throughout Ireland for years now, so we are delighted to complete the major refurbishment project for their latest Belfast location.  It is open for business and ready to welcome customers through its doors. We wish Bunsen Burger all the best with their new location.”
