In 2015 McDonalds launched their ‘Experience of the Future’ concept throughout the UK and Ireland which ran to 2019.

Marcon completed an impressive 109 ‘Experience of the Future’ upgrades between 2017 and 2019 across the UK and Ireland.

The new concept involved operational platform upgrades to facilitate the change from counter service to single dual collection points.

New initiatives also included installation of dual drive-thru lanes, installation of digital self-order kiosks, introduction of digital merchandising and creation of new kitchen platforms, all designed to elevate the customer experience and create a more modern and exciting restaurant environment.
