Project Description:

Marcon has completed the new build construction and fit-out of the biggest Tim Hortons Drive Thru Restaurant in Northern Ireland at the Riverside Retail Park in Coleraine.

This is the first new build restaurant in Northern Ireland and the fast track construction and fit-out had a 17-week build programme starting August 2020. The 3000sq ft, 100-seater restaurant with Drive Thru lane opened on the 25th January and will employ over 65 team members.

Lorcan Hegarty, Project Manager, Marcon says “It is a real sense of achievement to have delivered the largest new build project in the UK for Tim Hortons – on time and on budget.  The fact that we have been entrusted with this project is testament to the quality delivery that we have demonstrated on each project that we have completion to date.”

Kevin Hydes, Chief Commercial Officer for Tim Hortons says “We are thrilled to open an amazing new Drive Thru restaurant in Coleraine. It’s our plan to take the brand to every major town and city in the U.K. by 2022 and we are looking forward to opening many more Drive Thru restaurants in Northern Ireland over the course of the next couple of years.”
