Project Description:
Marcon were appointed to deliver the specialist joinery package, solid surface cladding, polished concrete worktops, and metal work within the new 4 story Student Union.
The new building incorporates a generous open and flexible entrance space, informal learning zones, club rooms, supporting offices, multi-purpose hall, Students’ Union Bar, catering and retail outlets.
Full scope of works includes the manufacture and installation of:
- Reception desks including bespoke Corian counters
- Acoustic walls and ceilings
- Solid Surface cladding
- Polished concrete worktops
- Multiple boardroom tables
- Media units
- Specialist Bar equipment
- Corian benches & fixed seating
- Room dividers with enclosed storage units and planters
- Phone booths
- Shelving
Project completed on time and on budget.
