Marcon were appointed as Principal contractor to deliver the multi-million-pound refurbishment works at Timber Quay in Derry~Londonderry for the Ulster University to support its continued growth and expanding student population.
The project involved the Creation of a variety of new spaces, including: Computer labs, Seminar and teaching rooms, A student hub, A staff hub with hot‑desking capacity and Flexible academic environments designed to adapt to evolving educational needs
All works were delivered in strict compliance with accessibility standards, fire safety regulations, structural requirements, and Ulster University’s sustainability and asset management protocols.
