Marcon were appointed to deliver the first Hollister store in March 2025.
Hollister Co. is a retail brand owned by Abercrombie & Fitch Co selling apparel, accessories, and fragrances. In 2008, Hollister Co. opened its first store in the UK and now has almost 50 stores.
Hollister’s store design evolved from its original California beach shack aesthetic with dimly lit interiors and shuttered windows designed to resemble vintage beach shacks to a modernized, brighter, and more open concept.
New stores feature front windows, a more inviting, brighter atmosphere with blue and white tones and warm wood fixtures, designed to better reflect Hollister’s brand positioning and create a more authentic and relatable experience for Gen Z customers. Layouts are more streamlined and easier to shop, with larger merchandise areas in a smaller overall footprint. They incorporate seamless omnichannel capabilities, including a central click-and-collect area and options for in-store ordering and same-day delivery.
