Firmus Energy has officially opened the doors to its newly refurbished headquarters in Mallusk, following the successful completion of a 14-week design and build programme delivered by Marcon in partnership with Reddy Architects.
The project involved the extensive transformation of the ground floor of an existing two-storey building, while maintaining full operational use of the upper floor throughout the construction period. Delivered in three carefully phased stages, the works included the subdivision of the space to create a variety of functional zones, including private offices, meeting rooms, collaborative workspaces, and breakout areas.
The new office environment has been thoughtfully designed to reflect Firmus Energy’s brand identity, with a focus on creating a bright, modern, and welcoming atmosphere for employees. Contrasting materials and contemporary finishes were incorporated throughout to add visual interest and enhance the overall aesthetic.
In addition to the internal fit-out, the project included the installation of new mechanical and electrical services, with associated works to roof plant and service areas. The team also coordinated closely with other contractors and stakeholders within the busy industrial estate to ensure safe and efficient delivery of the scheme.
The result is a dynamic and inspiring workplace that supports collaboration, productivity, and employee wellbeing.
The outcome is a thoughtfully designed office space that supports employee wellbeing and productivity, while showcasing Firmus Energy’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.
