Marcon has completed the fit-out of a new Chopstix Noodle Bar at Westfield Stratford in London.
Located on the ground floor of the food court, the eye-catching design is a new concept for the popular eatery as the brand continues to be rolled out across the UK and Ireland.
Marcon was responsible for the full fit-out of the unit and delivered the project on time to the complete satisfaction of the client.
There are several bespoke finishes that elevate the project, namely the vinyl applied back painted glass and the feature timber panel with ‘burnt’ graphic. It is the use of Corian throughout the scheme that completes the stunning interior. The main counter has a Corian top with seamlessly integrated overclad bain-maries, Corian wall panels with relief detail and Corian LED fins on the walls and ceiling. Marcon utilised its specialist joinery workshop to manufacture all the specialist joinery and Corian items.
Liora Baron, Head of Construction, Chopstix Group talks about their experience of the project; “When Chopstix secured the unit at Westfield Stratford, we embarked on an evolution of the brand which incorporated a number of fresh ideas. We challenged Marcon to design and build a unit not only to a strict budget and to a tight timescale but also to incorporate all our new ideas. Marcon achieved all of this and also formed a strong relationship with the centre management, which helped the smooth running of the development. Thanks to Marcon for all their hard work and here’s to the next development!”
