Job Summary

Marcon have delivered the fit out too many award-winning buildings across the retail, hospitality and museum and heritage sectors. They have an outstanding reputation for quality of service and have been the contractor of choice for many high-profile projects and Clients. Marcon are looking for a talented and driven individual to join our expanding team. The role will entail supporting our joinery workshop in a range of activities as we continue to provide a high standard fit-out service for our clients.
Responsibilities and Duties
Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
- To be able to work from workshop drawings
and produce cut sheets - To have a full understanding of joinery
methods and woodworking procedures,
setting machines and tools required for
manufacturing - Taking a job from raw timber to finished
product - Training can also be provided to develop
and complement existing skills
Skills and Experience
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience of working in a joinery
workshop - To be committed and hardworking, able to
work to deadlines - Well organised, efficient at planning,
prioritising and sequencing work - Must be able to work as part of a team and
communicate with other members of staff
