Marcon Fit-Out were appointed Principal contractor for the fit out of the new 15000 sq ft bar and restaurant, Char + Mash, at the SSE Arena in Belfast.
The name “Char + Mash” is a nod to Belfast’s history of whiskey production and shipbuilding.
Char + Mash is thoughtfully designed to reflect Belfast’s industrial heritage, with exposed elements and thoughtful design touches. The new venue features six distinct areas including cosy dining zones, a VIP tasting room, and a spacious terrace.
Appointed as the specialist fit-out contractor, Marcon delivered a full internal fit-out across the space, with a strong focus on bespoke craftsmanship and high-end finishes.
Char + Mash has been selected as a finalist in the 2025 Fit Out Project of the Year Hospitality (Bar) category.
