Marcon has helped open Belfast’s newest music venue in a beautiful 19th Century printing warehouse in Belfast’s City Centre – the iconic Telegraph Building.

Operated by Shine the former Belfast Telegraph newspaper printing press, once at the beating heart of the city’s industrial & cultural output, has been developed into a multi-purpose venue for a broad range of cultural events.

Within a 2 week period Marcon prepared the space for major gigs that will be taking place in the city over the coming months.

The works consisted of a major strip out of existing services, fixtures and fittings throughout the building whilst maintaining the raw urban look of the space.  The floor had to be levelled in places and a full electrical fit-out undertaken for specialist lighting and sound for the upcoming concerts.

The team behind the venue says it will offer a “broad range of cultural events” during its upcoming season, with a focus on live music and DJs., with a focus on live music and DJs.
