At this challenging time, we recognise that there are many vulnerable people that need help.

There are many charities in our community that do outstanding work and as a responsible business we try to play our part in supporting the work that they do.

We have been able to make donations to a number of charities that are very close to our hearts at Marcon.

“On behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support I would like to say a massive thank you to Marcon for the very generous donation of £1500. We have never needed your support more.

The last 9 months have been the hardest we have ever faced.  Cancer hasn’t stopped for Covid, but 50% of our fundraising has and it is only with the kind support of you guys at Marcon that we are still able to be right there for people here in NI when they need us most”

Joanne Young, Senior Fundraising Manager, Macmillan Cancer Support.

‘’Marcon have been great supporters of Ronald McDonald House Charities Ireland for a number of years. They understand the importance of providing accommodation, care and support for families when their children are seriously and long-term ill in Crumlin children’s hospital in Dublin.

Since 2004 we have cared for in excess of 4,200 families from across the island of Ireland. Since the start of the pandemic our services have been more essential than ever for our families. We simply could not have been there to care for them without the amazing support of companies like Marcon.

Thank you for remembering our families at this difficult time’’.

Marian Carroll, CEO (Volunteer), Ronald McDonald House Charities Ireland.

“We really appreciate this kind donation of £2,000.  It is a significant amount that will help us continue to support families in our Houses at their time of real need, now even more than ever. We would like to thank the team at Marcon for their generosity.  It is greatly appreciated.”

Tony Morton, Director of Income Generation, Ronald McDonald House Charities UK.

“On behalf of the Society of St Vincent de Paul, I would like to sincerely thank everyone within your organisation for your generous support.  All of our donations go to those most in need and vulnerable within the local community.

Without the generosity from organisations like yours, we would not be able to provide the level of support we do. We really appreciate all of your kindness.

May I take this opportunity to thank you once again.”

Ciarán Liggett, Special Works & Treasurer Support, Society of St Vincent de Paul.
