Marcon have completed their seventh retail fit out for outdoor recreational brand The North Face.

The newly refurbished store, totalling almost 6000 sq foot opened on the 15th October in Edinburgh’s Frederick Street.

The new store was designed to deliver the best customer experience.  The second floor Innovation Room presents TNF premium products and their leadership in innovation, whilst the Equipment Room reflects the brands proud heritage as well as providing educational elements and technical information on products.

Project Manager at Marcon, Ross Mullan, said: “The new store really fulfils both practical and aesthetic requirements.  With an increase in internet shopping, it has become more important than ever for retailers to create stores and environments that produce a real memorable experience.  TNF have hit the mark.   The new store isn’t just aesthetically great but the attention to detail and installation to enhance the customers experience really reflects what the brand is all about.”

Marcon’s full scope of works included, interior strip out; formation of new partition walls; flooring; custom wall bays; light boxes; new furniture including counter area and signage; fire and security systems; HVAC installations providing a comfortable and controlled environment and upgraded lighting to suit new floor layouts and accentuate the stores contemporary feel.

Externally, façade cladding was installed to the Category B Listed Building. The restrictions associated with this, necessitated an attentive approach, ensuring all necessary permits and consents were in place.
